Acquisition NexGen is currently in search of a Sr. Executive Assistant for an Aviation & Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Crystal City, VA.
This is a Permanent/Full-Time role.
This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
This is a Hybrid role that requires candidates to work Onsite in Crystal City, VA 3 days a week.
Summary:
Supporting Federal clients in planning, coordinating, and leading meetings, and keeping contents of meetings focused.
Assisting with the tracking, managing and responses to clients, including handling travel requests for C-Suite.
Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability to clearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutions.
Experience planning and implementing multi-stakeholder sessions.
Experience processing pre-travel, travel requests, authorizations, and vouchers.
Ensure that staff attends meetings; coordinate all meeting materials and provide to the staff prior to the meeting.
Coordinate the preparation of a variety of items such as travel requests, professional service orders, requests for sponsored travel, outside activities, official duty memoranda, leave authorizations, training requests, individual/mass mailings, correspondence, reports and various forms.
Coordinate meeting planning and logistical arrangements, including room and audiovisual reservations, WebEx, and other remote connection arrangements; prepare and transmit agendas and relevant materials; contact and communicate with participants; prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
Act as focal point and primary initial contact for matters concerning the Office.
Coordinate the day-to-day office operations, including, but not limited to problem and conflict resolution, organization, and prioritizations of tasks; respond to written communications.
Requirements:
10+ years of Executive Assistant experience in a Federal/Government/DoD environment, including at least 5 years of supporting Executive / C-Suite staff.
Experience creating and editing high-level PowerPoint Decks and Executive-Level Briefs.
Ability to work onsite in Crystal City, VA up to 3 days per week.
Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience providing executive level support including tasks such as calendar management, meeting or travel planning, distributing minutes, or expense processing.
Experience as an Office Manager is highly preferred.
Prior experience in a DoD, Military, Navy, Air Force, Army environment is highly preferred.
